Modern American Advisor — Partner With Us
“The GQ/Vogue of financial media.”
Build influence, authority and commercial opportunity across America's advisory community.
Modern American Advisor is a design-led media, intelligence and influence platform created for the people and businesses shaping the future of advice in America. We bring together premium editorial, primary-sourced audience intelligence, cinematic media, high-impact podcasting, newsletters, research, webinars, print, events and private-access experiences to help partners engage one of the most valuable professional audiences in U.S. financial services.

From The Founder
Modern American Advisor was created by Alex Sullivan, a financial-media entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience building specialist publishing platforms for advisers, wealth managers, asset managers and investment professionals. Having launched and scaled influential titles including IFA Magazine and Wealth DFM, Alex created MAA to bring a more refined, intelligent and commercially useful media platform to the U.S. advisory market.
MAA is not a start-up content site selling advertising. It is a publishing platform built by people who have spent their careers earning the attention of advisers, and who understand what serious commercial partnership looks like in financial services.
Advertising Sales & Marketing
Lisa Turner brings extensive experience in advertising sales and marketing to Modern American Advisor. With a BA in English/Journalism from Miami University (Ohio), she held corporate marketing roles before managing regional marketing for The Wall Street Journal and senior advertising positions at American Airlines Publishing.

Why Now
RIAs are becoming more influential. Wealth managers are consolidating. Technology and AI are reshaping how firms operate. Succession and acquisition pressures are rising. Advisor recruitment is more competitive than ever. Women in finance, leadership, culture, client communication and talent are climbing the strategic agenda. Asset managers, platforms, technology firms and professional services businesses need more intelligent ways to reach advisors.
The old model of financial media is no longer enough. A banner, a solus email or a one-off webinar can still play a role, but serious market influence now requires a more connected approach across content, data, audience, voice, events and follow-up.
Modern American Advisor is built precisely for this new environment.
Why MAA Is Different
A firm launching an AI platform needs a different strategy from an ETF provider educating advisors. A recruitment campaign needs a different tone from a private dinner. A lead-generation programme needs different mechanics from a podcast sponsorship or editorial calendar alignment.
Advisors consume media across a multitude of platforms — website, newsletters, podcasts, print, digital magazine, video, webinars, social, events, bookazines, research experiences and private community. MAA carries a story across the right channels and turns attention into authority, insight, leads, relationships and commercial momentum.

Audience Intelligence, Reach & Targeting
A premium editorial platform combined with a proprietary audience intelligence layer — built around the firms, people and decision-makers shaping modern advice.
28,000+
RIA firms
360,000+
Registered reps & advisory professionals
4,000+
Broker-dealer firms
20,000+
Mapped wealth teams & team structures
3,500+
Family offices
600,000+
Verified wealth, advisory & family-office profile records
A deliberately conservative campaign planning universe — not a claimed subscriber list. MAA's intelligence layer supports segmentation, research, lead generation, editorial strategy and targeted activation across the advisory ecosystem.
Accounting & CPA Partnerships
Modern American Advisor's Accounting Division connects firms serving the accounting profession with a targeted audience of 43,000 CPAs and accounting professionals—while also providing access to the RIA, wealth-management and advisory ecosystem around them.
This is a natural extension of MAA's core proposition. Affluent families, business owners and retirees do not experience tax, investment, retirement, estate, succession and family-wealth decisions in separate professional silos. CPAs and financial advisors bring different but complementary perspectives to the same financial life.
“The future of advice will not be built by one profession operating alone.”

A More Intelligent Route To Market
Modern American Advisor gives partners a more intelligent way to reach the U.S. advisory market. We combine premium publishing, primary-sourced and proprietary audience data, expert contributors, cinematic media, research-led engagement, targeted distribution, private community and commercial campaign strategy to help serious firms become more visible, more credible and more influential.
For some partners, the answer is a webinar. For others, it is a research campaign, a podcast sponsorship, an executive video, a digital media programme, a print feature, a private dinner, a Women In Finance partnership, an AI adoption campaign, a Build To A Billion series or a full annual platform relationship.
